From the Iolaire disaster, one of the biggest tragedies of the First World War and certainly the most terrible tragedy to affect the Hebridean islanders, to the stories of the Seaforths, Mathesons and Lord Leverhulme, some of the islands' most famous landowners and the fascinating story of the Ness guga hunters, who battle against the elements every year to make the journey to the remote island of Sula Sgeir and bring home their annual quota of the locally rated delicacy!
